The CMI story

Community Management Inc. began as a division of Prowswood, Inc. in the 1980’s. In 1987 Paul Beard became affiliated with Prowswood, Inc., as a contracted Certified Public Accountant, providing accounting and consulting services to Prowswood’s “Community Management” division. 10 years later in January 1997, Mr. Beard purchased Community Management Inc., and the community contracts that Community Management Inc. serviced under the ownership of Prowswood.

Who We Are

Since 1997, Community Management Inc. has grown to provide professional management, accounting and consultation services for nearly 3 times the number of properties that it did in its’ infancy, including Homeowners and Condo Associations located through-out Salt Lake, Davis, Utah and Summit Counties.

Locally owned and operated by R. Paul Beard, whose career experience as of September 2014 includes:

*6 yrs with a “Big 8 International Accounting firm” from 1979 to 1985
*29 years as owner of R Paul Beard & Associates, CPA, with a 35 year CPA membership in both the UACPA and AICPA.
*17 years experience in property management and project oversight
*27+ yrs financial/budgeting consultation experience specific to Homeowner’s associations).

Our employees

Community Management Inc. is a small company by design, maintaining an experienced staff of individuals including property managers, office staff and special projects associates. Our team members all have lengthy customer service experience as well as management and project oversight experience prior to joining us.

LIABILITY: We maintain an Employee Dishonesty policy with a limit of $100,000, Forgery or Alteration limit of $10,000, and General Liability limit of $1,000,000. No claim has ever been on any of these policies, nor is there any pending litigation.
